Please come out to welcome home Cpl. Daniel Riley. Danny is a Marlton guy. He went to school at DeMasi from kindergarten up until he graduated 8th grade in 2002.
He then went to Cherokee High School and graduated in 2006. After graduating he joined the USMC.
Danny is a 3rd generation Marine.
His job in the Marines was a machine gunner with the 3/3 Weapons Company.
He served twice in Iraq in 2007 and 2009. Following his first tour he was chosen to attend Advanced Machine Gunners School at 29 Palms Ca. and qualified as an expert marksman.
Daniel never had a homecoming and now he is leaving the Marine Corps as his duty is finished.
He is being released on Sunday and is coming home for good. Starting in the fall Danny will attend Rutgers majoring in education and is already enrolled. He plans to become a History Teacher.
Danny’s parents, Brian and Bernadette Riley, as well as his brother Brian, and Sister Jennifer, are very excited that he is coming home. Evesham Fire-Rescue, Evesham Police, Evesham Township, The Yellow Ribbon Club, the Warrior Watch Riders and Friends are all on hand to make his journey home an unforgettable time for him.
We plan on making a TON of noise to welcome him home.
Please come out and join us.
