Please come out to welcome home SPC Zachariah Grear from serving one year in Afghanistan. Zach is with the US Army, 82nd Airborne. Zach graduated from Haddon Heights High School in 2002. He entered the Army in January 2008 where he did basic training at Ft Benning, Ga. He then qualified for Field Artillery Training at Ft. Sill, OK and then assigned to the 1-321 Airborne Field Artillery Unit . Zack was deployed to Khost Afghanistan, 10 miles from Pakistan, in Jan 2009. He was promoted to SPC. in Oct. 2009. He just completed a year in Afghanistan.
Please join the Yellow Ribbon Club, Warrior Watch Riders and Friends, The Township of Haddon Heights, Fire and EMS and the Grear Family in making some noise to welcome home Zach from a long and difficult deployment.

1. just got word that John and Margaret Loftus, (the group members who got us our T-shirts) were both in the hospital this last week.

2. Reminder that the free Writing workshop with Dina Greenberg starts this Tuesday, Feb 2nd, 6:30pm – 8:30pm at ExpressIt Cafe, 18 Haddon Ave. Haddon Twp.
3. Our Next MSGNJ meeting is Thursday Feb. 11th, 6:30pm coffee and 7pm meeting start. We have chosen a date to put the condolence book together for our Marine Mom Melinda Kane and for Jeremy’s girlfriend Julia. It will be Sat. Feb 27th. So please bring a letter you have written to her or a poem that you think is appropriate to comfort her or Julia. We will include those in the books. Please keep the prayers coming, the family needs them.
