Military Support Group of NJ Invitation Nov 21st

Hello All,


   Please bring your family & friends and join us on:


   Saturday evening, Nov. 21st, 8pm to midnight at Richeez Restaurant, 709 Warwick Rd, HiNella, NJ near Sterling High school  (formerly Balloons, Dukes and the HiNella Inn)

  for Dancing, Food, Silent Auction and Fun! 

 

   All Proceeds will benefit the Military Support Group of NJ Inc. (MSGNJ) so that we may continue to send care packages to our deployed troops currently serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Military Support Group of NJ – TriCare Assistance Program

Dear Friends,

   some of you have a loved one, or a friend, who is home or coming home  from deployment – here is some info for you. (see below)  TriCare is the ‘insurance program’ for our military and their dependents.

   We are having a PTSD workshop at Chews UMC, 319 Black Horse Pike, Glendora, NJ 08029 on Tuesday DEC 1st 7pm to 8:30pm. Workshop Open to All, helpful information for now or in the future.  (Much of this info I learned years ago while in college classes, but that info really helped me when my son came home from deployments.)

Military Support Group of NJ – Nov 12th Meeting

Dear Friends,


  I just wanted to remind those of you who ordered MSGNJ T-shirts that they will be in and delivered at our next meeting Nov. 12th.     While you can pay that evening, if you could send a check ahead of time, that would be wonderful, easier for our bookkeeping purposes.  If you need to know your total amount due, please email me.  (Some of you have sent checks already – thank you.)

Please come out and welcome home Spc. Tanner Griffith from a one year tour in Iraq. He is a graduate of Shawnee High School. During his tour he was in Tikrit, Iraq. He also did a short tour in Kuwait. He painted murals in both places but his job in Iraq was Blackhawk Crew Chief. 

His family is requesting a welcome home for him. Please come to Freedom Park in Medford NJ. The Medford Fire Dept, Yellow Ribbon Club, Warrior Watch Riders and Friends, MRVC, and the township of Medford will be on hand to give him a welcome home fit for a rock star.

Military Support Group of NJ

WE HOPE TO MAKE THE FIRST ANNUAL Military Support Group of NJ Inc. (MSGNJ) BEEF -N – BEEF,   A GREAT SUCCESS

We hope to have about 20 to 25 baskets to auction off. This is a great money maker, and with your help we can make it happen.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN DONATING A COMPLETE BASKET (OR ITEMS WE CAN USE TO COMBINE TO BUILD A BASKET)   THEY WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.   ANY EMPTY BASKETS YOU HAVE TUCKED IN THE ATTIC / BASEMENT WOULD  BE APPRECIATED ALSO.


   We ask that all baskets or items be brought to the November 12th meeting, so that we have time to build the baskets and prepare for the event.

Military Support Group of NJ October Meeting

Dear Friends,

 

   We had 54 people at our meeting the other night – awesome!  Please keep Marine Mom Laura Power (hospitalized) and US Marine Bobbieann Swain (knee surgery) in your prayers.

  Please add these upcoming events to your calendar:

     

1.  Nov. 8th, 11am - Veterans Day ceremony at Veterans Island, Cherry Hill, contact Col. Al Bancroft at abancrof@camdencounty.com . Open to all.

 

2.  Nov. 10th, 6pm to 8pm, Coastline Restaurant, Cherry Hill.  Veterans Concert, $10 per ticket for food, drink, music.   For tickets, contact Col. Al Bancroft abancrof@camdencounty.com 

 

3.  Nov. 12th 7pm to 9pm – Next MSGNJ meeting at Chews UMC church, 319 Black Horse Pike, Glendora.    6:30pm for coffee / tea / fellowship.  (For those that ordered T-shirts, they will be in that evening.)

 

4.  Marine Corps Ball – Nov. 14th at the Tavistock Country Club, Haddonfield, open to anyone, not just Marines.  For tickets and further info Please contact Col. Al Bancroft at abancrof@camdencounty.com .
