Military Support Group Of New Jersey

  We have a super opportunity to earn money for our organization the Military Support Group of NJ Inc. (MSGNJ). The funds will provide shipping for the boxes we send out each week.  

  On Oct. 6th you and your family or friends can enjoy a day of shopping at Boscovs. You will receive a 25% discount when you show the "Boscovs 25% Shopping Pass"   that we are selling now for $5.00 each.  You can use the pass all day long Oct. 6th and at any Boscovs store.

   Some of our group members bought them at the meeting last night but if you would like to purchase a ticket for yourself or if you can sell some to your friends, family or coworkers, please contact  me.  100% of the ticket money goes to us, so it is a GREAT program for us and a great way to save money on purchases for you!  Plus….ticket holders will have a chance to win one of these fabulous grand prizes!:

Hello All,

     Thank you again for the 66 people who attended last week’s 5th year anniversary celebration/meeting.  What a night!   (we had 7 people that first meeting in Sept. 2004)  Thank you to all who brought food for our celebration.  It was an awesome night!   Soldier Zach Grear, home on his R&R, stopped by with his parents – and gave lots of hugs!

   Special Thanks to Mrs. Regina Shuster & Mary Lou Cuneo from Support The Troops NJ who presented us with our ‘US Army Freedom Team Salute’ certificate to the Group!   We are honored.

  Special Thanks to American Pride Car Club for their attendance and their very generous donation to the Military Support Group of NJ Inc. (MSGNJ)   We are extremely Grateful!

   Thanks to all who brought blankets, items for the care packages, and donations,  our group is blessed!  And in turn, our deployed troops & their families are blessed.

   Upcoming: 

#1.  Oct. 3rd, 10am to 4pm, Stratford NJ Fall Festival, Yellin School, Warwick Rd,  MSGNJ will have a table.  Come on out to enjoy the fair!

#2   The email went out about the Boscovs shopping event held on Oct 6th, 25% discount tickets for $5 each are still available.  Can be used at any Boscovs.  Thank you to those who volunteered to help at the table, more details to follow (MSGNJ receives the full $5 per ticket.)

#3  Saturday, Oct. 10th, 9am – noon, Veterans Legislative Seminar held at Gloucester Co. Institute of Technology, 1360 Tanyard Rd., Sewell, NJ  Admission is FREE – ALL are welcome!

#4.  Saturday, Oct. 10th, 8pm to midnight, Oktoberfest event, $25 per ticket includes food, beverages, music & dancing.  Proceeds from this event benefit MSGNJ & our troops. Event open to all adults. Contact Marcelle Shriver for tickets ron101abn@comcast.net.

#5  We are trying to get MSGNJ T-shirts, great for homecomings, upcoming events, etc. if you are interested, please let me know what style, what size and how many…….thanks. Karen

2 Styles –

   Lastly, we can use items for our holiday packages that we’ll pack up in the beginning of November.  I figure we need about 900 wrapped presents – NEW DVD movies (no war), NEW CDs of Music, NEW paperback books (no war) packages of white socks, new handheld games,  900 signed Christmas cards, and Christmas candy. Thank you kindly.  : )
