Please come out to welcome home SFC Christopher Bayne from his deployment from Afghanistan:

· Christopher was born August 25, 1982 to Mary and Mark Bayne.
· He spent time living in Lawnside, Erial and Stratford, NJ
· On July 30, 2001, at 18 years old, he enlisted in the U.S. Army.
· He became Airborne qualified and spent his first 8 years at Fort Bragg, NC in Headquarters Company Support, 3rd Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group (HSC, 3 BN, 7th Group).
· He has been deployed 9 times: 5 to Columbia, 1 to Chile, and 3 in Afghanistan.
· He married his wife, Jennifer on May 2, 2009.
· Shortly after, he was reassigned to the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) and stationed in Arlington, Virginia.
· 10 months later, they had a daughter; Laura Hope.
· In 2011, he made his current rank of Sergeant First Class.
· In July of 2012 Christopher was reassigned to 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division (HHC 2nd BCT, 82nd Airborne) in Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
· Among the more than twenty awards given to Christopher in his over 13 years of Active Duty Service are two Bronze Stars, a Defense Meritorious Service Medal, and a Meritorious Service Medal. His last day of active duty is December 5, 2014 and then he will move on to the Army Reserves in the 77th Sustainment Brigade at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.

Friends, Family, The Warriors Watch Riders, Operation Yellow Ribbon of South Jersey, The Somerdale Police Department, The Somerdale Fire Department, Somerdale and others will be on hand to make some noise and welcome home this Hero in Rock Star style.
